Re: Bee sting - One of the worst pains ever?

I've actually been stung on the ear before, and it hurt quite a bit. I don't think it's anywhere close to the worst pain, but it's definitely something that is a pain. Certain bees, and bee like insects, have much more painful stings. I definitely do thing you should try to avoid getting stung thoug...

Re: How to get rid of sore arm after a vaccine?

I don't think there's anyway to really avoid that one. You just got a needle stuck into your arm, to draw out blood. It's going to sting at least a little bit, for a little while. That one you just gotta tough out honestly.

Re: Do you always drink medicine for your sinus?

I have a lot of allergies, so I have to deal with a lot of nose problems on the regular. I think that you can take medicine, and it helps, but you can also just tough it out. If you're experiencing a lot of sinus pain, I don't think there's really a way around taking medicine. It's highly suggested ...

Re: Wear the Right Shoes

I think that this can't be understated honestly. Comfortable footwear is actually super important for all walks of life. It can make all the difference from having blister ridden sore feet, to being completely fine all the time. Especially if you do a lot of exercise, or are on your feet a lot, it's...

Re: How does acupuncture work for back pain?

I don't think it has very much to do with back pain, the majority of the time. I think it can help if your back-pain is pressure related, since that's what acupuncture is like designed for. I think overall, if you're looking to fix your back pain, sticking a bunch of needles in you isn't going to he...

Re: Giant kidney stone...ouch!

I think they have a lot of really effective treatments against kidney stones now. I think it's best if you keep a healthy diet however, and then you'll never have to deal with them in the first place. They have like laser treatments that break up the kidney stone in your kidney, so it comes out harm...

Re: A good remedy for cramps

I think both ice, and rest, are some of the best remedy for cramps. If you cramp up and then you try to continue physical activity, it can end up being an even worse physical injury. The worst is cramping up in oceans, or pools of water, because that can be life threatening. If it's a cramp that's l...

Re: Remedies for swollen gums

I feel like the best remedy for most dental hygiene is just avoidance. Brush your teeth, floss, go to the dentist often, etc. As long as you do those few things as much as you should, I don't think you'll have any dental problems. If you do have dental problems, your dentist should be able to solve ...

Re: Trying to lower your blood pressure?

There's quite a few ways you can go about lowering your blood pressure. You can lose weight. You can lower your sodium intake. Make sure you eat healthier. (less fatty and greasy foods, more veggies and fruits) Exercise regularly. Limit alcohol intake. I don't think any of this is 100% guaranteed to...

Re: Preventing carpal tunnel syndrome

Carpal tunnel is actually a common occurrence among people who use a lot of computers all day. I think the best way to avoid it is regular hand and arm exercises. I recommend looking up "Day9 hand stretches", and he has 5 hand stretches there that I feel really can help you out if you do t...
