It may be caused by another disease

Postby Marco Mogan » Tue May 03, 2016 2:00 am

Any neuropathic pain is actually caused by a different disease such as diabetes or other related sickness. Athritis is another cause of nerve pain too but does less damage than actual diseases. They say that warm compress and a massage can help you get rid of this but in reality it can inflame it instead. Better have the painful part of your body be checked by an actual doctor before doing anything else.

Well, this is very true. Neuropathic pain is pretty complex and is accompanied by tissue injury a lot of the times. Nerve fibers can get damaged or injured and send incorrect information to other pain centers in the body. Thing like alcoholism, shingles, chemotherapy, HIV, and other diseases can cause it.

What about the effect of impaired microcirculation
(the tiniest vessels with the biggest workload in transporting nutrients/waste) on our pain perception? Can't modes of therapy that help regulate microcirculation also act as "red flag finders" for people where something else is going on?
