Bad breath is usually caused by poor oral hygiene habits, infections that occur in the mouth, unhealthy habits, such as smoking and alcohol intake, and foods that you eat. The best way to prevent bad breath is to always make sure you’re practicing great oral care habits such as brushing your teeth twice a day and flossing daily because it can help to control plaque development and use of a tongue scraper and also control odor causing bacteria that form on the tongue. But there are also other techniques to freshen your breath, which your dentist or doctor can discuss with you.
