Re: Pneumonia

For the most part if there are no complications, this can be treated at home. But if any of the symptoms are present it is best to see a doctor and let him prescribe something. It usually clears up in about two to three weeks.

Re: Probiotics

Yes, I have used them for many years now and they definitely do work to clean your gut out. It is very important to have a healthy digestive system to keep your immune system in top shape. You can pick them up at most health food stores or even your local grocer.

Re: Iron And Stomach Problems

Thanks guys for the great responses. I will tell her about trying some probiotics. I think this should help her. I never thought about liquid iron, that should be better for her stomach.

Re: Coughing After Eating

No, I never smoked so I know that's not the problem. As far as the other things I will have to look into them. I have been trying to keep track of what I eat and when the problem arises. I don't really cough like that when I'm not eating. If I can't figure it out soon I will go see a doctor.

Re: Corn Or Callus

To me it sounds like you have calluses. They are hard thick flat areas of skin caused by repeated rubbing or pressure. A corn actually points inward and will push against a nerve and cause pain. It is more like a round bump on the outside of the skin. You can use a pumice stone to remove the dry de...

Coughing After Eating

Recently, after I get done eating I experience some coughing. It only happens intermittently, not all the time. I don't know if the food is causing this or maybe it could be some sort of food sensitivity. Not sure what to do about this problem. Any help would be welcome.

Re: Chest Pains After Workout

I think the best thing for you to do is take it easy. I would recommend you make an appointment with your doctor and see what he says about it. You may have over did it when you were working out, or it may be a more serious problem.

Corn Or Callus

What is the difference between the two? I have dry, thickened skin on the bottom of both my feet and I don't know if it is either. Plus underneath my big toe the skin is splitting and can be painful at times. What causes them and how do you get rid of them? How do you prevent them from coming back? ...

Re: Knee Pain From Running

I never really got into running much, except when I was a kid just fooling around the neighborhood. I had a friend that was a serious runner, he competed in marathons. When he got older he started having problems with his knees. The doctor told him he liked runners because eventually they all come t...

Iron And Stomach Problems

My aunt has anemia and has to take ferrous sulfate everyday. Her stomach and bowels seem to be very irritated from this. When she is constipated she has to take a fiber supplement every day. Lately she has this bubble like feeling on her left side under her rib cage. What could this be? She also fee...
