Re: Ear Pain and Balance Problems...

When balance is mentioned, what comes to my mind is vertigo. A doctor said that our balance is affected by the ear. So when there is a problem with the ear like a painful ear drum, you will tend to have a problem with your balance. But what I understand about this thread is the ear pain that is caus...

Re: Wrist massages!

If you have a stress ball, that's what we use for massaging the hand that would include the wrists. We actually have a stress ball in the car for it is good to use during heavy traffic. Instead of being bored in the car, it is best to exercise the hands using that stress ball. I work with a computer...

Re: Signs and Symptoms of painful bladder syndrome

Is this bladder syndrome connected to incontinence? When my father-in-law started having incontinence, my husband questioned him why the need to wear diapers. The father reasoned that his urine was coming out in drops involuntarily so the diaper would prevent his underwear to get wet. But before tha...

Re: Ear Pain Due to Dental Issues

There was a time that my husband was beset with decaying teeth. And before he had the chance to go to the dentist for extraction, the abscess in his molar caused him pains in the ear. It is actually the vein below the ear lobe that was painful. When he went to the doctor, the diagnosis was lymph nod...

Painful Lymph node in the groin

We had a housemaid before who had difficulty walking. She was actually hiding her condition and we only got to know it when we noticed her limping. She had a painful lymph node in her groin. When we sent her to the doctor for a checkup, it was discovered that she had a wound caused by a puncture of ...

Re: Computer Eye Relief

I work in the IT departments so it is obvious that I am in front of the computer most of the time except when I am in a meeting. We have a policy in the office to stand up and do something else even for a minute or so every hour. That means you have only a maximum of 1 hour to spend continuously in ...

Re: Constant Stomach Pain and Bloating

It's either gastritis or acidic stomach that's giving you the indigestion which thereby produces gas. And that gas makes your stomach bloat and gives you the pain. Noticeably, you will feel relief when you burp long enough but short burps would have no good effect because the gas keeps on building u...

Re: Foods you need to avoid when you have gastritis

The first thing in the list of taboo foods for gastritis is spicy food followed by coffee, sour fruits, corn and other hard to digest food. My husband has gastritis for a long time and sometimes he couldn't eat because of the pain. It is usually triggered by indigestion when he had eaten water spina...

Re: Hip pain in the evenings?

Isn't it scary to experience pain in the hip? I have a colleague who was regularly experiencing that kind of that was later diagnosed to be dislocated hip. She underwent an operation to correct the hips and she was in a brace for some months. I am hoping that as I age, I wouldn't experience that pai...

The punishing toothache

A tooth decay can give you hell when there is an abscess that has pus. I know of so many cases like that where the patient was crying all the time because of the unbearable pain. Worse, the dentist wouldn't pull the bad tooth because of the swelling. The pus will neutralize the anesthesia so it will...
