Re: Premenstrual Abdominal Cramps or PMS

Birth control helps me a ton. I take Daysee which takes a bit to adjust to, but once you do, you only get a period once every 3 months. Having a cycle 4 times a year really helps my abdominal pain. Not to mention it's so much more practical. You do have to take a birth control pill everyday though, ...

Read this is you crack your neck a lot...

I used to crack my neck. I would do it about 9-10 times a day along with my entire back. Well, on April 12th, 2016, yep two months ago, I woke up with a sore neck and shoulder. I assumed it was no big deal. Nope, not at all, however the pain didn't go away and after a week, I sought out help from my...

Re: My Best Trick for Tension Headaches!

Besides all of the medication and natural remedies, I find that a good long hot shower will make me feel better. That gets the blood flowing through the whole body. Then a hot sensible meal with some hot tea to wash it down, and then a good uninterrupted sleep or nap. You body just needs to heal it...

Re: Depression and Pain

Thanks for your responses. They're very helpful. It's nice to see people actually see the connection. What I hate is when people tell me my depression is causing my pain. I personally believe they can coexist and each need to be treated individually. It's like asking what came first the chicken or t...

Re: Coffee Headache

The best way to treat a headache like that is to use peppermint oil. I carry it around in my purse and put a dab under my nose anytime I feel like a headache is coming on. Not only does it somehow relax me it also makes headache pain go away. I swear by it. I looked it up once and found that pepperm...

Re: Gallbladder Surgery

Gallbladder surgery is known to trigger something known as Sphincter of Oddi Dysfunction it is a rare disorder and there is a good chance your wife doesn't have it, but if she's experiencing that gallbladder type pain plus nausea and vomiting, it might be something worth looking into. Also keep an e...

My Best Trick for Tension Headaches!

I sometimes will get really bad tension headaches and occasionally a migraine will follow. However, if I catch it early and use a little peppermint oil my headache will dissipate. Apparently there's been studies that have show a little peppermint oil is just as, if not more effective at treating hea...

Depression and Pain

Does anyone else get really depressed because of their pain? I struggle with this all the time and am at a loss. It is just really unfair. I hate being sick. I want to be better so badly, but even if I was better I'm not sure it'd be a good thing, because it would be new and scary. Just reaching out...

Re: Blood in the Urine

Typically it means you have kidney stones or some kind of bladder infection. I would get seen by your doctor ASAP or even go down to the emergency room. They'll be able to help you out there a lot better than we can. Ya know?

My 2 Conditions

Hello there, my name is Misty, I have 2 co-existing conditions. The first is a rare pancreatic disorder. I was on a feeding tube for 3 years because of it. The tube just came out 4 days ago, which is really good! The 2nd thing going on with me is my neck. I had cervical surgery to remove two herniat...
