It takes about 6 weeks for the jaw bone and gum tissue to repair itself following wisdom teeth extractions. This time may vary depending on if the wisdom teeth were impacted in bone or in gum tissue.

I have been using accutane and since have extremely chapped lips. I have tried everything and the only thing that has worked is lanolin! Better than anything i tried. :)

Swollen gums will cause pain constantly and need the help of a dentist to resolve it. But you can also overcome the swollen gums with traditional home natural treatments. I suggest you gurgle with saltwater and take good care of your oral gums. Brushing daily helps a lot in preventing gum pain.

One of my friend had swollen gums and I gave her some advice. I told her to try gurgling with salt water. Salt water really helped her a lot, she tried for 2 days , she told me 1st day nothing happened but on the second day white pulp came out from swellings without pain. It is truly a great remedy....

Yes! I agree I tried drinking plenty of water, somewhat it help keep the mucus thin enough to cough it out. Also I went to my doctor and she prescribe me to take mucodyne and carbocysteine. Perhaps you should try this medication, it helped me a lot.
